Lee has over 20 years’ experience in the transport and regeneration sector, both in the UK and overseas, working for local and central government as well as the private sector and has developed considerable skills in being able to lead and implement projects and programmes from start to finish. His work on implementing behaviour change programmes such as Smarter Travel Sutton, My Journey Southampton and Smarter Travel Haringey have jointly received over 15 industry awards. Lee was also selected to be part of a University College London expert panel on behaviour change.
More recently he has worked directly for the Department of Transport in Abu Dhabi supporting the delivery of their Transport Mobility Management programme and producing the first Low Emission Vehicle Strategy in the Middle East, which has led to a large scale switch to the use of sustainable vehicles in the UAE. Lee is a qualified Programme and Project Manager and is currently the Interim Director of Growth for LB Croydon where he is responsible for the delivery of a programme which will see significant growth in central Croydon over the next 5 years. This involves delivering over £500 million of schemes relating to transport, public realm, social infrastructure and digital infrastructure to cater for major growth in jobs, businesses and homes and the creation of a long term sustainable, smart community.
